I did a Google search on "medications that control angry outbursts" and found this:
Bipolar Children
I had been kind of doubtful about the bipolar thing. After reading this, I have no doubt at all. yikes. They wrote that article about DD.

I am so happy you have found a new perspective of DD. I follow your blog and wish your family well. Always set time aside to care for yourself as well. You have a lot on your plate. Best wishes from a hopeful young woman who has BP I. Lots of love.
Information is Godsent! I am not surprised at the Bipolar. The good news is there is a lot of information on treatment and strategies available. {{{Hugs}}}
That was a great link...I had no idea there was term for not the mind not understanding when you are ill. I knew it was more than denial. Very helpful and something else I can use to help the kids understand their dad.
You've probably already heard of it, but I highly recommend a book called The Bipolar Child. It's REALLY great.
