A guess a positive thing is even though you get sick of hering him say negative things at least he's talking. He hasn't shut you out and that is a good thing for him if not you. My husband used to say things like that quite often until he stopped. I thought it was because he was feeling better. Instead it was because he just felt I didn't love him and never did so he decided to find someone else. I did and do love him with all my heart but if he doesn't speak there is nothing I can do.
